The bank is set to enhance its customer acquisition strategy, streamline operational costs, minimize abandonment rates, and elevate the overall customer experience through the introduction of a mobile-based digital account opening application. This app aims to be both scalable and user-friendly, catering to the needs of a diverse customer base.

Furthermore, this mobile application will facilitate the introduction of various non-financial services, allowing both new and existing customers to apply for a range of services conveniently through their smartphones, regardless of location.

The bank plans to offer three distinct options for account opening:

• Instant account opening using an Aadhar number
• Digital account opening utilizing Aadhar along with biometric KYC or Video KYC
• Digital account opening with Official Valid Document (OVD) and biometric KYC or Video KYC

In addition to digital account services, the bank is also focusing on providing renewal services for existing Kisan Credit Card (KCC) customers.
